Yes. Provided you have a GP referral and acceptable coverage for the affected area, DVA claims can be made at Shoreside Physio.

Your GP may refer you to Physiotherapy under the Chronic Disease Management plan (formerly known as the Enhanced Primary Care or EPC plan). This entitles patients to 5x subsided Allied Health consultations per calendar year, under Medicare. These can be used towards your Physiotherapy needs. However, Medicare will not cover the full amount for the consultation and the patient will be required to pay the gap.

There are strategies you can follow to assist your recovery from injury, whether it be acute or chronic. These involve avoiding aggravating activities, completing your prescribed exercise program and attending the appropriate follow up appointments with the Physiotherapist. Adopting these strategies will assist the body’s healing process.

Except for Cardio-Pulmonary Rehabilitation (requires a GP referral), anyone can make an appointment to see the Physiotherapist at Shoreside Physio.
